Christiania Bikes T is perfect for transporting people and going on outdoor adventures with friends and family! Originally developed for the wonderful Cycling Without Age organization, Christiania Bikes is designed to seat two adult passengers side by side. The bike taxi is a fantastic way to get seniors and people of all ages with mobility issues out into the fresh air and sunshine! Regardless of the weather, Christiania Bikes is excellent for nursing homes, tour operators, amusement parks, hotels, and organizations that serve and advocate for seniors. Christiania Bikes is available with a choice of three electric drive systems.
FSC-certified wood and chromoly steel
Wood is a renewable, recyclable, strong, warm, and durable material. For Christiania Bikes, it has always made the most sense to transport children in natural and sustainable materials. That is why we only purchase wood from sustainable FSC-certified sources.
In addition to wood, which is the primary material, a balanced distribution of two types of metal is used. Steel has always been a significant part of the components that Christiania Bikes cargo bikes. Steel has high strength and is therefore used as a material for the components that are subjected to the greatest loads in the construction.
Christiania Bikes chromoly steel, which has a very good strength-to-weight ratio and is significantly stronger than standard steel. Along with steel, aluminum is also used in the construction, giving the cargo bike a light, balanced, and strong structure.
model t Hood
The Model T hood protects passengers from rain, wind, and sun. It is designed with three windows. Two windows are located on each side for better visibility, and a large window is located at the rear so that the driver can easily keep an eye on the passengers. This window is available with a zipper and can be easily opened.
Carpet
The rain cover for the Model T is both waterproof and warm. It is easily mounted on and around the footwell and attaches to both it and the armrest. The rain cover covers the entire footwell, so neither water nor wind can penetrate. With both the hood and rain cover in place, passengers are well protected from rain and wind.
midDrive
If you want the best and most natural electric traction, MidDrive is the way to go. The system consists of a center motor that provides extra power when you pedal.
Regardless of the load, MidDrive is virtually silent when pedaling.
MidDrive can handle demanding riding with heavy loads and is also ideal for use in hilly terrain.

rearDrive
Brushless rear wheel motor
With RearDrive, there is minimal wear on the gear system and good traction, as the motor pulls directly on the rear wheel without having to transfer power through chains and sprockets.
Throttle with integrated assist levels. The throttle gives you full control over the motor and has on/off buttons for the motor system and lights.
