Monitor your Christiania bike live via the Christiania Bikes app. The bike's location is updated in real-time when the bike is in motion and will show the user the last time of movement.
Digital lock
You can lock and unlock your e-bike via the Christiania app. If your locked bike is moved, IoT sends a motion alert to your phone.
Autolock* ensures hands-free safety for the user. The bike automatically locks when the user moves out of Bluetooth range and unlocks when you return.
*The feature is only available for Guardian IoT
Motion notification and alarm
If the locked bike is moved, IoT sends a motion alert to your phone.
When a bike is locked and touched, warning sounds are triggered. When the bike is moved for a longer period of time, a full anti-theft alarm will go off.
Control over your drive
You can turn the bike and its lights on and off and set the assistance level via the Christiania Bikes app.
The app has a digital dashboard to show your bike's speed, distance traveled, your battery's state of charge and much more.
You can also use the navigation function and record all journeys.
This digital ID
The unique frame number on your Christiania bike is linked to a digital ID in the app. If someone tries to edit the frame number of your Christiania bike, the IoT device's digital ID can prove that you are the bike's owner.

Setting up
1. Download Christiania Bikes app from Google Play or App Store, create an account and connect the "Comodule" device. Note: Make sure Bluetooth, GPS location tracking and Push Notifications are enabled on your phone for the Christiania app.
2. Activate Comodule Connectivity via the app. A one-year free subscription is included with your bike.
3. To keep the smart features active after one year of free subscription, you need to subscribe to the connectivity services again. This can be done either monthly or annually.

How do I install an IoT device for my bike?
Comodule products are installed at our production facility, but they can also be retrofitted at the dealer on bikes already in use. The IoT device must be installed by the dealer at all times to ensure the correct installation and quality.
How do I keep my IoT device updated?
Upgrades to new features and services are made available with wireless updates.
In-app push notifications for upcoming connected features are sent periodically, making it possible to improve and renew your bike without leaving home.
Where in the world does the tracker work?
Comodule's Connectivity Solution tracks your e-bike with satellite location, 4G cellular connectivity and even 2G to very remote locations, enabling global positioning from Copenhagen to New York. Compared to Bluetooth® trackers, Comodule's positioning technology enables global coverage, increasing the chances of getting the e-bike back when it is stolen.
How long can I track my bike after it has been stolen?
The device is automatically powered by the bike's main battery, which uses very little energy. If your bike is stolen, the tracker will continue to charge itself as long as the main battery is
attached and charged. If the battery is removed or drained, the tracker can survive on its own
battery for up to 2 weeks without movement and up to 1 week if the bike is constantly moved. Note: this only applies to the integrated IoT device.
How does the IoT device work?
The IoT solutions include an IoT device, Christiania Bikes App and connectivity subscription. First, the device is integrated at the factory or retrofitted at dealerships. Then the user connects their phone to the bike by entering the provided code. This activates the subscription period and connects the bike to the app, allowing the bike to be tracked and other features of the app to be used. When the subscription period is over, the user can renew the subscription via the app.

Why is my Gurdian IoT device not working?
The Guardian IoT device charges automatically through your bike's headlights. The headlights on your bike must therefore first be turned on for your Guardian device to work.
