Built-in GPS tracker
Monitor your Christiania bike live via the Christiania Bikes app. The bike's location is updated in real-time when the bike is in motion and will show the user the last time of movement.
Digital lock
You can lock and unlock your e-bike via the Christiania app. If your locked bike is moved, IoT sends a motion alert to your phone.
Autolock* ensures hands-free safety for the user. The bike automatically locks when the user moves out of Bluetooth range and unlocks when you return.
*The feature is only available for Guardian IoT
Motion notification and alarm
If the locked bike is moved, IoT sends a motion alert to your phone.
When a bike is locked and touched, warning sounds are triggered. When the bike is moved for a longer period of time, a full anti-theft alarm will go off.
Control over your drive
You can turn the bike and its lights on and off and set the assistance level via the Christiania Bikes app.
The app has a digital dashboard to show your bike's speed, distance traveled, your battery's state of charge and much more.
You can also use the navigation function and record all journeys.
This digital ID
The unique frame number on your Christiania bike is linked to a digital ID in the app. If someone tries to edit the frame number of your Christiania bike, the IoT device's digital ID can prove that you are the bike's owner.

Setting up
1. Download Christiania Bikes app from Google Play or App Store, create an account and connect the "Comodule" device. Note: Make sure Bluetooth, GPS location tracking and Push Notifications are enabled on your phone for the Christiania app.
2. Activate Comodule Connectivity via the app. A one-year free subscription is included with your bike.
3. To keep the smart features active after one year of free subscription, you need to subscribe to the connectivity services again. This can be done either monthly or annually.

Hvorfor kan jeg ikke låse min cykel op?
For at låse cyklen op skal hovedbatteriet være korrekt monteret. Uden batteriet kan motoren ikke få strøm, og derfor kan cyklen ikke låses op.
Vær også opmærksom på, at batteriet ikke kan oplades ved temperaturer omkring frysepunktet – det kan påvirke både oplåsning og drift.
How do I install an IoT device for my bike?
Vores IoT-enheder installeres som standard på fabrikken under produktionen. Hvis du allerede har en cykel i brug, kan enheden også eftermonteres hos en autoriseret forhandler.
For at sikre korrekt installation og høj kvalitet skal en IoT-enhed altid monteres af en forhandler.
How do I keep my IoT device updated?
Opdateringer med nye funktioner og tjenester installeres automatisk via trådløse opdateringer (OTA).
Du modtager løbende push-meddelelser i appen, når nye funktioner er tilgængelige, så du nemt kan forbedre og opgradere din cykel – helt uden at skulle forlade hjemmet.
Where in the world does the tracker work?
Comodules Connectivity Solution sporer din e-cykel via satellitpositionering, 4G-netværk og – hvor dækningen er begrænset – også 2G. Det betyder, at du kan lokalisere din cykel globalt, uanset om du befinder dig i København eller New York.
I modsætning til Bluetooth®-trackere, der kun virker på kort afstand, giver Comodules teknologi global dækning og øger chancen for at få din e-cykel tilbage, hvis den bliver stjålet.
Hvor længe kan jeg tracke min cykel, hvis den bliver stjålet?
Enheden forsynes automatisk med strøm fra cyklens hovedbatteri og har et meget lavt energiforbrug.
Hvis cyklen bliver stjålet, oplades trackeren løbende, så længe hovedbatteriet sidder i cyklen og er opladet.
Skulle hovedbatteriet blive fjernet eller løbe tør for strøm, kan trackeren fortsat fungere på sit eget backup-batteri:
- Op til 4 uger, hvis cyklen står stille.
- Op til 1 uge, hvis cyklen er i konstant bevægelse.
Bemærk: Denne funktionalitet gælder kun for den integrerede IoT-enhed.
How does the IoT device work?
IoT-løsningen består af tre elementer: en IoT-enhed, Christiania Bikes appen og et tilslutningsabonnement.
Enheden integreres enten direkte på fabrikken eller eftermonteres hos forhandleren. Når du modtager din cykel, downloader du appen til din telefon og opretter forbindelse til cyklen via Bluetooth.
Ved første tilslutning oprettes automatisk en unik kode mellem IoT-enheden og motorsystemet. Denne kode sikrer, at cyklen kun kan låses op via appen eller gennem vores support.
I appen kan du aktivere dit abonnement, som giver adgang til sporing og andre antityverifunktioner. Når abonnementsperioden udløber, kan den nemt fornyes direkte i appen.

Why is my Gurdian IoT device not working?
The Guardian IoT device charges automatically through your bike's headlights. The headlights on your bike must therefore first be turned on for your Guardian device to work.
