Our production
Over the decades, we have developed a production process that both brings things together and creates new ones. Today, we don’t just build cargo bikes and trailers—we also manufacture a wide range of unique components that have evolved from our many years of experience in bicycle craftsmanship. From our first humble frames to a modern production facility that now spans more than 10,000 m², we have always had one goal in mind: to create solid, safe, and durable products we can be proud of.
Our production facility on Bornholm is situated in the heart of a scenic landscape, and we strive to operate in harmony with our surroundings. When the sun is shining, the entire factory runs on solar power, and we place a strong emphasis on waste management, energy efficiency, and ensuring a healthy work environment for all employees.
Production is divided into a number of specialized departments, each of which contributes its own craftsmanship and expertise. The welding department manufactures well over 100,000 steel components every year—ranging from wheel parts to bodywork and steering systems. Next to the welding department, we have our own workshops for wheels, bodywork, steering, and wood production. Finally, everything comes together in our assembly departments, where the details fall into place and the cargo bikes take shape.
In this way, we work together to create a production process where traditional craftsmanship goes hand in hand with modern technology and sustainable solutions—and where every single bike that leaves the factory embodies our values.
