Our company was founded back in the 1970s in Smedien in Christiania. We started producing bicycles for the residents of Christiania, so it was only natural to call our models Christiania bikes. When we began exporting our models in the early 1990s, we also started using the name Christiania Bikes, which has since become our registered trademark in virtually every country in the world.
