The frame, wheels, and frame bag, etc., should be washed and cleaned regularly to remove dirt. Wipe the parts down with a damp cloth. Avoid letting dirt accumulate in the joints. Check regularly for loose parts and have them tightened by a bike shop if necessary. All visible, moving parts: cables, adjustment screws, moving brake parts (NOT brake rotors), chain, pedals, bell, and lock should be lubricated regularly with bicycle oil. Screws, threads, and axles also benefit from a few drops of oil, and the chain should be tightened if necessary.
